We know that everyone has a story. We all have made our share of mistakes, and some mistakes land us in prison. Beyond the Bars is a prison ministry that reminds those incarcerated that they're not forgotten, and God Still has a plan of salvation for every inmate.

 

BTB Program is also a continuation to the reentry program through various Prison locations helping those at the the time of release to get re established into the world population with the support they need. See

 

Business Development:

we help with Workforce development skills including:

a) Obtain a trade and skill ( Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Welder, Landscaper)

Communication skills - How to present themselves professionally for a job interview.

b) Small business start up - How to take their skill into their own hands learning how to be a boss instead on an employee.

c) Money Management & Credit - Learning how to maintain or establish good credit and knowing how to properly budget income.

Adult Mentoring: we assign a mentor to each individual holding them accountable for their actions, helping them with everyday life decisions.

 

Outreach: Immediately upon release each mentee is assigned a outreach duty. This ensure that their time is well used while going through the development process.  

 

Low Income Housing opportunities are giving to graduates of the program

(Residents are encouraged to open up a checking and savings account)
